number, not four

Impressions, reach and engagement tell you the machine is running. They do not tell you it is working. Everything we do reports against what it costs you to acquire a paying customer, and whether that figure is falling.

How a result is defined

A number without a baseline is a brochure.

Most agency case studies quote a figure with nothing underneath it. No period, no starting point, no definition of what counted as a customer.

Every figure on this page carries its basis. What was measured, over what period, against what starting number. If we cannot state those three things, the figure does not go on the page.

  • What counts

A closed, paid transaction attributed to a tracked source. Leads, quotes, appointments and form fills are inputs, not results.

  • The baseline

Total media spend divided by acquired customers over the 90 days before we start. Agreed in writing before launch and frozen.

  • Like for like

Same service mix, same geography, same season. A material change on either side resets the baseline rather than flattering the number.

  • Where it comes from

Platform and CRM records, not a screenshot. The same sources we would produce if a figure were ever challenged.

The work

Case studies

Named, with permission, and stated with the basis they were measured on.

Ecommerce

Millennium UPS

41× Return on ad spend

Paid acquisition rebuilt around the products that actually carried margin, rather than the ones that carried volume.

Basis: return on ad spend across the campaigns we managed. Add the period covered and the prior figure before publishing.

Second case study

This slot is styled as unfinished on purpose, so the page cannot go live looking complete while it is not.

  • Written permission to name the client
  • The figure, and what it measures
  • The period it covers
  • The baseline it is measured against

Placeholder

Third case study

A service business would sit well here, to balance the ecommerce example above. Cost per acquired customer is the stronger figure to lead with for those.

  • Written permission to name the client
  • Cost per customer before and after
  • The period it covers
  • What else changed in that window, if anything

While the work runs

What you actually see

Not a monthly slide deck. The same view we use to make decisions, available whenever you want it.

Live

The dashboard

Spend, leads, booked jobs and cost per customer by channel, updated as it happens rather than compiled at month end.

Weekly

What moved and why

A short written note on what changed, what we did about it, and what we are testing next. Written by the person running the account.

Monthly

The number

Cost per acquired customer against the frozen baseline, with the working shown. This is the figure the engagement is judged on.

Always

Call recordings

Every call recorded, transcribed and scored. You can read what was said rather than take a summary of it.

Always

Source attribution

Which channel produced the invoice, tracked from first click through to payment. Not which channel produced the click.

Quarterly

Keep, cut, scale

A straight recommendation on what to stop spending on. Including, when it applies, parts of our own scope.

The guarantee

Lower your customer costin 90 days or we work for free

The strongest thing we can show you is not a past client's number. It is what we are prepared to put at risk on yours. If we have not beaten your documented cost per acquired customer in 90 days, we keep managing your accounts at no fee until we do.

Straight answers

Why so few case studies?

Because we only publish work we ran ourselves, with the client's permission, and with the basis stated. That is a shorter list than the one we could assemble by counting everything anyone here has ever touched.

If you want references rather than a page, ask on the call and we will connect you with clients directly.

Can you guarantee a specific number?

No, and anyone who does is guessing. What we guarantee is direction and time: your cost per acquired customer below its documented baseline inside 90 days, or we keep working at no fee.

The size of the move depends on where you are starting, and we will give you an honest read on that during the audit.

What if my industry is different?

The channels change. The measurement does not. A roofing company and a Shopify brand are bought differently, but both are judged on what it costs to win a paying customer and how fast that customer gets a response.

Do you share other clients' data with me?

No, and for the same reason we will not share yours. Benchmarks we quote are either public, or anonymised and aggregated to the point that no individual account is identifiable.
